Thirty years ago, just after Ellen moved to the city, Steve Sawaii sold me my house on the West Side. It was an easy sale but I liked him a lot and so when it was time for my partner Arnie to sell his Santa Monica townhouse, I was very happy to see Steve’s name all over town as a leading realtor in the area. We hired him. From beginning to end which went very quickly Steve was perfection. He began with a professional presentation about how he approached sales, comps, etc. which convinced us to go ahead. We agreed we should move quickly to take advantage of the market. We did our part by emptying everything, but Steve made the rest super easy, providing us with all the painters, carpenters, floor guys, and stagers that we needed. He had a clear idea of what we needed to do to increase the unit’s sellability and the turned out to be absolutely right. He also convinced us of the way to price, to ensure a quick sale and competition between buyers. He was absolutely right. Within three days of the opening, we had three offers, including one all cash. Next came the escrow, which was quick and challenging. Steve guided us with perfection through what to accept, what not, of the buyer’s requests. Escrow completed on time. We would recommend Steve Sawaii to absolutely anyone who was looking for a West Side realtor. Our experience couldn’t have been better.

It would be impossible to say how happy we were to have Steve Sawaii as our agent. He was spectacular! He showed us an excellent selection of houses. Including the one we now live in which we love more and more every day. Throughout the process of finding a home, he provided us with excellent advice pointing out the strengths and weaknesses of all the houses we looked at. He then negotiated an excellent deal for us. Finally, he gave us invaluable help in securing insurance and guiding us through the complexities of escrow. Through all of this, we came to trust and genuinely like and respect Steve. He is an outstanding realtor and an outstanding person. We never expected to have anyone like him helping us to find a house. We would unequivocally recommend him to anyone in the highest possible terms.

Steve is the best of the best. Incredibly knowledgeable, honest, always friendly, full of energy with great ideas, and willing to go that extra mile, or 10! He helped us to find our home and later to sell it along with Andrea Pilot who is also wonderful. During both experiences, I felt that we were in expert hands and truly enjoyed the ride with these hardworking, kind, and easy-going realtors. Regardless of our side of the deal, I always came out feeling that I got the best deal possible. I only wish I had another job to do with them! Working with Steve Sawaii is truly a pleasure. Not one day goes by when we do not pinch ourselves ! Lety’s father passed away a few weeks ago and thankfully, as a result of us moving here, she was able to visit him several times a week since he lived in Santa Monica. This happened because you both made it happen for us. Steve and Lety are able to visit Steve’s 80 year old mom who also lives in Santa Monica, several times a week, and know she is just minutes away because both of you made this happen for us. Our 3 adult “kids” have really bonded together and we are all able to share in this DREAM! We are amazed.

We were referred to Steve in 1982 by a friend and he helped us buy out first home as newlyweds. We have since referred several friends to him over the years who have all been extremely pleased with his services. Justin has a quick response time and has been extremely flexible with an ever changing agenda! He has gone above and beyond all expectations with staying in constant contact and has made himself accessible whenever needed.
